Stellar Rugby Journal

Editorial policy

Stellar Rugby Journal aims to make clear, accurate writing about rugby design and visual culture. We separate description from interpretation, disclose relevant commercial relationships and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terminology and factual details against suitable references before publication. We take care not to present a visual interpretation as a settled fact, and we provide context where a design or convention has changed over time. Articles are not a substitute for official rules or specialist advice.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made for relevance to the publication and its readers. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable opinion or editorial approval. Where a partnership could reasonably affect how a piece is understood, we make that relationship clear.

Corrections

Readers can use the Contact page to flag a possible error. We review correction requests, update material errors where warranted and make the nature of a meaningful correction clear in the article.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid placements and other partner-supported material are labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where they appear, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
